I bred Breeze who was the one male puppy of Bliss's litter of six babies.
Breeze made a rather inauspicious entry into the world having been birthed by his mum as she was on her way to greet visitors arrival at our door. She was not going to allow the small fact of being in labour get in the way of her social responsibilities.
Breeze's lusty cries from where he had slid under the sofa signalled his displeasure at the circumstances of his birth and he has not failed to make his presence heard since that day.
Breeze is all male. He is blonde and beautiful and has that canny knack of being able to wrap his mum and owner around his not so little paws.
He truly loves life and grabs every minute to the full. He adores other dogs and all people whether they want to be adored or not !!
Breeze is the self appointed janitor of the green belt area of grassland to the rear of our home. From behind the safety of our gate he "advises" any person or creature of his presence and from this attention seeking behaviour he has developed his own fan club. If he is absent from the garden his name is called and he then attends to keeping his public happy by putting in an appearance.!!
He is never more happy when on the beach "helping" other dogs to catch their balls and wallowing in mud holes at the woods.
Breeze is a one off and in my most exhausted moments I thank goodness for that.
How can one loving owner get so lucky to enjoy such perfection of a beautiful species of animal as are Golden Retrievers.
To be owned by Golden Retrievers is truly to be blessed.
