Sunny
Such a pet was my darling boy Sunny.
His personality had to be experienced to believe. The owner of kennels where Sunny spent short periods during my overseas trips gave him the name "Mr Personality." It was a name of which he was more than worthy. When I dropped him off at the kennels the owner would call all recent staff newcomers to come and meet Sunny as being the dog she had told them of.
My bond with Sunny was so close it could seem a little unreal at times to feel such mental and emotional togetherness.

All pets are more precious than words can describe but if you are so fortunate one pet comes into your life who is that once in a lifetime experience.
I mourn his loss as greatly today as I did that dreadful day when he passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I close my eyes and see his face and think of the great times we had together and the friendship we shared each with the other.
With time I have come to open my heart to several beautiful creatures again and that is how Sunny would want it to be.
The day will come when the ashes of Sunny, Cass and Scarlet will be combined with mine and I will be together again with my darlings forever.
That will be my heaven.
